Joyful Elders Painting Series

Young at Heart is an ongoing acrylic painting series celebrating elderhood, play, style, pleasure, tenderness, and vitality. Through color-rich portraits and narrative scenes, the series imagines elders not as symbols of decline, but as living archives of joy, memory, mischief, beauty, and becoming.

The first work in the series, Joyride, was completed in March 2026 and sets the tone for a larger visual world rooted in movement, delight, and the radical possibility of aging with wonder.
